Climate change threatens Nepal

Global warming is threatening the lives of thousands of people living in the so-called ‘roof of the world’.

Rising temperatures are causing glaciers in the Himalaya mountains to melt, and the water threatens to sweep away whole villages.


But, as Subina Shrestha reports, experts are looking into an early warning system that could protect these remote communities from an environmental disaster.
