China moves against lead poisoning

The Chinese government has acknowledged that more needs to be done to fight pollution and its cost on public health and the environment.

But victims of poisoning from heavy metals say they have failed to get help through legal channels, while their children suffer the brunt of the problem.

Al Jazeera’s Wayne Hay reports.
